Our optional wellness add-ons — IV therapy, peptide injections and IM vitamin shots — are among the most-asked-about parts of the Nutricove experience. Here's a guide to what's available, what the evidence says, and what to expect.
All add-ons are provided by licensed medical partners at each destination. They are wellness services, not treatments for any disease or condition, and nothing here is medical advice. Talk to your own doctor before your trip.
Why Wellness Add-Ons on Retreat?
The retreat environment is well suited to these services. You're already resting, eating clean, sleeping well and doing deep emotional work. Some guests like to add nutritional and peptide support during this window to focus on the physical side of their week.
Think of it as tending to the body while the retreat tends to the mind. All services are physician-supervised and administered in the comfort of your villa.
IV Drip Infusions
NAD+ Infusion ($350)
NAD+ (nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide) is a coenzyme found in every cell of your body. It plays a role in energy production, DNA repair and cellular signaling, and levels decline with age.
The infusion takes 2–4 hours (NAD+ must be given slowly to avoid side effects like nausea and flushing). Most guests schedule it for a free afternoon. Guests often describe the effects as "mental clarity" and "steady energy." Research on NAD+ and cellular energy is ongoing, and large human trials are still limited.
Myers' Cocktail ($175)
Named after Dr. John Myers, this is one of the best-known IV vitamin formulas. It contains magnesium, calcium, B vitamins (B5, B6, B12) and vitamin C in a saline solution, and has been used in clinics since the 1960s for general wellness.
The infusion takes 30–45 minutes. It's our most popular IV option — a straightforward nutrient drip that many guests say they feel within hours.
Hydration Reset ($150)
A liter of electrolyte-enhanced saline with added B vitamins and vitamin C. A good fit for guests arriving dehydrated from travel, those adjusting to tropical climates, or anyone who wants a simple start on Day 1.
Immunity Boost ($200)
High-dose vitamin C, zinc, glutathione and B vitamins, chosen to support you through the travel and physical demands of the retreat week.
Peptide Injections
Peptides are short chains of amino acids that act as signaling molecules in the body. They're an active area of regenerative and longevity research, and most have limited human trial data. The physician will only recommend them where appropriate for you.
BPC-157 ($200/week)
Body Protection Compound-157 is a peptide originally derived from a protein in gastric juice. Early research, mostly in animals, has studied its role in tendon, ligament and gut tissue repair. Popular with guests who have chronic injuries or gut concerns.
TB-500 ($200/week)
A synthetic version of part of Thymosin Beta-4, studied for its role in tissue repair and inflammation. Often combined with BPC-157 as a recovery protocol.
GHK-Cu ($175/week)
A copper peptide studied for wound healing, skin elasticity and hair. Guests often choose it for skin support.
CJC-1295/Ipamorelin ($250/week)
A peptide combination that prompts your body's own growth hormone release. Guests use it for sleep quality and recovery. Given as a nightly subcutaneous injection.
IM Vitamin Shots
Quick intramuscular injections (5–10 minutes) for targeted nutrient support:
- B12 Shot ($40): Energy and everyday wellbeing
- Glutathione ($75): Antioxidant support and skin
- Vitamin D3 ($50): Immune and bone support
- Amino Blend ($60): Amino acids for muscle recovery

What to Expect
All services are administered by a licensed physician who reviews your medical history and current medications before recommending anything. The physician visits your villa at a scheduled time, sets up the IV or gives the injection, and monitors you throughout.
There's no clinic visit and no waiting room. You're in your villa, overlooking the ocean or jungle, with a licensed clinician looking after you.
A Note on Evidence
We're open about the evidence for each service. Some, like the Myers' Cocktail and basic hydration, have a long history of clinical use. Others, including NAD+ and most peptides, rely mainly on early or preclinical research and have few large-scale human trials. Our physician discusses the evidence with you before recommending any protocol, and may advise against a service based on your history.
These are optional extras, not requirements. The core retreat experience — therapy, yoga, ceremonies, excursions, meals — is complete without them.
